Kerala has fascinated travelers since time immemorial with its natural bliss, undulated culture and treasured traditions. Our Best of Kerala offers a sneak-peak into this thin strip of wondrous Western Ghats. The tour acquaints through Kochi, the Queen of the Arabian Sea, and a timeless trance on the backwaters of Kumarakom and Alleppey.  The better half of this tour goes alongside the tree house stay in the company of mesmerizing tea gardens and wishful waterfalls in Munnar and a blissful sojourn on the spice jungles of Thekkady and wild life at Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary.

The last stage of the trip rests in a stroll on the captivating sandy beaches of Kovalam alongwith Trivandurm, the capital city of Kerala.


Day 01 - Arrival | Kochi:

On your arrival at Kochi airport or railway station, our representative will meet you to pick you up and transfer to your hotel. After check in and short relaxation, go for a city tour or spend the rest of the day at leisure in your hotel or go for a city walk and visit the nearby famous Edappally church. Dinner and overnight stay is at your hotel in Kochi.


Day 02- Kumarakom:

After breakfast, you may make a sightseeing city tour to your interested attractions in Cochin. Your sightseeing will include visit to Chinese Fishing Nets, Fort Kochi, Jewish Synagogue, Mattancherry Palace or “Dutch Palace”, St. Francis Church, Tomb of Vasco da Gama etc.

Afternoon, drive to Kumarakom and visit Hill Palace on the way. After your arrival in Kumarakom- a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake, check in and relax. Go for a village walk with an auto rickshaw. Alternatively, choose a canoe or motor boat and devour the beauty of this backwater paradise at its best. Have your dinner in hotel and enjoy. Overnight at your hotel in Kumarakom.


Day 03- Alleppey Houseboat:

After breakfast in your hotel, check out and drive to Alleppey Backwaters. On arrival, check in to the houseboat for an enchanting backwater cruise on the canals and rivers of the backwaters. Enjoy our complimentary lunch with typical Kerala dish on the houseboat and go on for the cruise through the narrow water ways while you can watch the fishermen picking up and catching the Chinese fishing nets. Relax and enjoy!

Take some awesome photos of you together and enjoy a candle light dinner and spend a serene unwinding night in this oasis of silence! Overnight stay is on the houseboat in Alleppey.


Day 04- Munnar:

After breakfast, check out from the houseboat and drive to Munnar (04 hours journey). On the way you will be guided by pepper, cardamom, tea plantations. Drive past beautiful tea gardens and enjoy the beautiful serenity of Munnar.  Enroute, you may also visit the Valara Waterfalls and the Eravikulam National. Check-in at hotel (or Tree House) and spend the rest of the day at leisure at this finest location amidst tea plantations. Dinner and overnight at your hotel (or Tree House) in Munnar.


Day 05- Munnar:

Today after breakfast, go for a sightseeing tour of Munnar – Tea plantations walk, visit to Tea Factory, Jeep ride to Kolukkumalai tea plantations, tribal village visit etc. Dinner and overnight at your hotel (or Tree House) in Munnar.


Day 06- Thekkady:

Today  after breakfast, drive towards south for Periyar .The Periyar sanctuary, created by the old Travancore State Government in 1934, was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978 under the Project Tiger scheme, attracts travellers from all over the world. The park encompasses a 26 sq. km. artificial lake, built by the British in 1895 to provide water to the temple city of Madurai in Tamil Nadu.

Visit Anayirangal Dam on the way. Anayirangal lake and dam attract hundreds of tourists who arrives here to catch the rare sight of elephant herds quenching their thirst from the lake. The name of the place itself is derived from this. It is a lush green carpet of tea plants. The place is surrounded by tea plantations and evergreen forests. A trip to the splendid reservoir will be an unforgettable experience.  Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Thekkady.


Day 07- Thekkady:

Today after breakfast, make a herbs and spices garden visit. Then enjoy the very interesting elephant ride and bath. You may then go for a boating through the Periyar National Park around noon. It is also interesting to make a city walk in the afternoon and make some shopping. In the evening, visit the Kathakali show offered in the city.  Enjoy a cooking demonstration offered in your hotel as you return for dinner.  Enjoy your dinner and have a good night in your hotel in Thekkady.


Day 08- Kanyakumari:

Morning proceed to Kanyakumari which is located at the Southern most part of India. Kanyakumari, or Cape Comorin as it was formerly called, is a place at the confluence of the Indian ocean, the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian sea. The multi coloured sand is a unique feature of the beach here. Sightseeing tour includes a visit to Gandhi Memorial which is a memorial built on the spot where the urn containing Mahatma´s ashes was kept for public viewing before immersions and Swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial which is a grand memorial to the great Indian Philosopher Swami Vivekananda. The sunset at Kanyakumari is a spectacle worth seeing. Dinner and overnight stay in Kanyakumari.


Day 09- Kovalam:

After breakfast, drive to Kovalam. Enroute, visit Padmanabha Puram Palace and Sucheendram Temple. Kovalam is one of India´s internationally renowned beaches, in God´s own country, Kerala. Kovalam, with its sheltered natural bay, azure blue waters and a sumptuous spread of green palm groves, is a tropical paradise. Relax yourself and spend the rest of the day at leisure on beach. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Kovalam.


Day 10- Kovalam:

Take a city tour to Trivandrum. Your sightseeing may include a visit to Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Kuthirarnalika Palace Museum, Napier Museum, Sri Chitra Art Galley etc. The famous Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple - dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is a blend of the Kerala and Dravidian styles of architecture and is known for its mural paintings and stone carvings. In the afternoon,  return to beach  and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure on this finest location. Dinner and overnight stay in your hotel in Kovalam.


Day 11 – Kovalam - Trivandum | Departure:

Relax on the beach, rejuvenate yourself at an ayurveda massage offered in your beach resort and get revitalized at this finest and luxurious beach. Check out at noon and get ready for your departure.  Get transferred to Trivandeum airport or railway station for your flight or train back home.  Take with you the lifelong sweet memories of your holiday trip with best choices in the “God´s own Country”.
